LCI-UK is an independent, not-for-profit organisation for the documentation, development and dissemination of global good practice in lean thinking applied to construction and construction-related activities. We are currently guided by an advisory board made up of leading thinkers and exponents within the construction industry. We aim to become a membership organisation which, like our sister institute in the US, makes good practice in lean construction available to the widest possible audience in the UK, while contributing to the global advancement of lean construction.Membership will be open to individuals and organisations; clients, designers, contractors, sub-contractors, specialists and suppliers. |
LCI-UK is all about the advancement of lean construction, which we aim to achieve by:  Annual lean construction summits,showcasing UK case studies as well as promoting the exchange of ideas and learning Academic/practitioner meetings Study tours to companies and projects to observe 'lean in practice' Lean Construction and Last Planner® training workshops Identifying and commissioning collaborative research Assisting member UK organisations to radically improve efficiency |
